Foreign Language Education
for Tomorrow's Leaders

“Change your language and you change your thoughts.”

Registration

Classes are scheduled after school and students will be dismissed directly from their classrooms. Classes will run for two 10-week sessions and will not meet on holidays, vacations or half-days, and also will not meet when the school is closed or dismisses early for snow or other emergency. A detailed calendar will be included once registration is complete.
The program cost is $150 per child for the 10-class session, which is only $15 per hour (except for the Tredyffrin Easttown School District, where the tuition will be $160 per session due to the high rental and insurance fees)
Payment must be made in full at the time of initial enrollment. There is a 10% discount for additional siblings. Refunds cannot be given if classes have been confirmed and the cancellation would lead to a class size of less than 6 students.

Our goal is to reach as many children in your school district and offer each child the opportunity to learn at least one foreign language early. If you want your child to participate in our program, but the class fee represents a financial hardship to your family, please contact me.

When registering, please also indicate a second choice, as we cannot ensure that all classes will be offered or that there will be enough places in any given class for all students who are interested. Assignment to classes will be on a “first come, first served” basis, so the earlier an application is received, the more likely it is that the child’s first request will be honored. A minimum of 6 students is necessary for a particular class to be offered and classes will be capped at 12 students, to ensure an effective pupil/teacher ratio. Additional classes may be added if there is sufficient demand and if qualified teachers and classroom space are available.

Parents who register their child/ren will receive a letter within the first week after registration closes confirming registration, details about their class assignment, and guidelines for the program, including dismissal procedure.

To register your child/ren for our LingoKids program please print the attached form, complete and mail with your payment (check made out to LingoKids LLC) to our office at 560 Conestoga Road in Berwyn, PA 19312.

Parents, please pick up your child/ren promptly each week unless the child is dismissed to an after-school care program or has a note stating that he or she is allowed to walk home. If a parent is repeatedly late, please consider making a small donation to the LingoKids Scholarship Fund.

In the event of inclement weather, LingoKids will follow your school's dismissal procedure. If the school is closed, dismisses early, or cancels all afternoon clubs and activities, there will be no LingoKids classes. Missed classes due to school closing will be added on at the end of the session.
